Aggregates (2017)

The Periodic Tables, Topographies, Minor Planets and Knots were research based series’ and mostly small-scale, desk paintings. The Aggregates series represent a kind of recovery of what was left out, and what I was missing–painting on my feet with oil. They served to recuperate a physicality in my, and the, work. They represent a geological antidote to a metaphysical or philosophical tendency, or perhaps reconciliation.
