Interplanetary logic and loss. Stragedies. The language of fragmentation and accumulation the glossaries in the marginalia. Work records its process. The abyss is filled and emptied, and filled again. The lyrical gesture moves from scripture to form, that is, from language to body, and back. The distinct histories of the two converge when Body and Line, Gesture and Form, are one. The work figures a reciprocal and strategic balance of accumulation and dispersion, of giving and taking away. Geometric perfection is never reached. The tension is between correction and transcendence: whether the work admits its failure and seeks resolution, or transcends shame for loftiness, stubbornness, or simply escape. The poles diminish to reveal their bridge.
